These discs are made with soft density felt mounted on a backing plate for use on variable speed grinders and polishers. They are for carrying suitable polishing compounds. They are ideal for polishing metal including mirror polishing stainless steel. They can also be used on plastics and lacquer. Set lower speeds for final polish. It is suggested that you keep a separate disc for each polish grade to avoid cross-contamination.Specification: Soft felt on fibreglass backing. Approx 7mm thickness giving long life. Standard 22.2mm mounting. No backing pad needed. Speed rating 115mm: Max 13,200rpm. Advised operating 6,000rpm. Speed rating 125mm: Max 12,200rpm. Advised operating 6,000rpm. Sold individually, but discounted in packs of 5.
