Ceramic abrasive comes into its own when grinding due to high rates of stock removal and durability. This makes it ideal for tube notching where productivity gains are achieved compared to all other abrasive belts. It is a great choice for grinding stainless steel and hard ferrous alloys, typically giving three times the life of zirconium equivalents as well as enhancing performance. Perhaps surprisingly, it is also a good choice for use on aluminium as the sharp grain and top coating give fast performance with cool running.Specification: Ceramic abrasive grain. Heavy duty polyester backing. Top coated with grinding aids. Water resistant - can be used wet as well as dry. Grades from 36 (Very Coarse) to 120 (Fine). Performs best under moderate to high pressure. Quality angled tape bonded joints. Supplied in batches of 10 belts. Typical sizes listed, but can be made to almost any size.
