08-07-2014

We are pleased to announce that we have been appointed an exclusive supplier and installer of a new brand of acoustic treatment solutions. The company is called Autex Acoustics and are based in New Zealand. All of Autex’s products are made from recycled materials and are fully recyclable. They supply a diverse range of consumer, commercial and specialty industrial products to markets all over the world. Established in 1967, Autex is founded on principles of innovation and outstanding customer service and committed to environmental best practice in everything they do. Autex works with synthetic fibres including polyester and polypropylene. They manufacture a diverse range of carpets, wallcoverings, insulation and acoustic products. Their products are found in schools, offices, hotels, hospitals, theatres, sports complexes, homes and boats around the world. They develop and enhance products, including customized and specialty niche lines. All Autex products are manufactured under strict ISO9001-governed quality control standards and backed by warranty. Many of their innovative products bring environmentally-friendly alternatives to the market and they’re constantly looking for opportunities to develop new eco-friendly products. As a manufacturer they’re also highly aware of their responsibility to the environment and they work hard to minimize the environmental impact of all their manufacturing and business practices. One such product is Quietspace®, an innovative range of high-performance acoustic control products made from recyclable 100% polyester. Using advanced fibre technology and processes, Autex has created a durable, good-looking product that allows designers real creative freedom and still delivers highly effective noise reduction. Quietspace products reduce both reverberated noise and sound transmission to create environments that are quiet, comfortable and attractive. All Autex’s Quietspace products offer a designer extensive creative freedom, with wide choices of colour and finish as well as custom printing and custom cutting options. Quietspace products are lightweight and easy to handle, with no frames or separate finishing elements for quick, easy installation. Like all Autex products, they are highly durable, fade-resistant and resistant to moisture, and will provide many years of effective, hard-wearing performance. Sound absorption ratings range from 20% to 100% across the Quietspace collection, providing an extensive choice of noise reduction options. Our product range includes Quietspace Workstation, a pre-finished acoustic screen panel product for use in office furniture and fitouts; and Quietspace Panel, an innovative frameless acoustic panel that can absorb up to 100% of reverberated noise. All Quietspace products are made from 100% polyester fibre, making them safe, non-toxic, non-irritating and non-allergenic. They contain none of the chemical binders commonly found in fibreglass insulation materials. Because they are single-material products, Quietspace products require less energy to assemble and are fully recyclable. Quietspace products also have a high recycled fibre content, making them the most environmentally sustainable products of their type on the market. Another of Autex’s product lines is their wallcoverings range. Autex’s top-quality decorative and acoustic wallcovering fabrics are made from non-woven, highly durable 100% polyester. Resistant to moisture, staining and UV fade, they’re easy to clean and will maintain their performance and good looks for many years. The range includes exhibition wall fabric Vertiface®, also available with acoustic backing under the name Composition®, our world-leading reverberation control solution. There is also Cube, a semi-rigid panel designed to help improve privacy in open plan offices. Autex wallcoverings are manufactured using the latest needle-punch and thermal bonding technology. That means they’re free from chemical binders and toxic glues, making them safer for users as well as more eco-friendly. The polyester fibre is non-toxic, non-irritating and resistant to the dust mites and bacteria that trigger asthma and other allergies. Our wallcoverings have a high recycled polyester fibre content and can also be recycled at the end of their life. Our extensive range of wall fabric colours and finishes allow designers to create attractive, comfortable environments that look and feel unique. Both Vertiface and Composition are available in an extensive range of contemporary colour options and a choice of velour or rib finish. Because of their non-woven, non-fray construction, Autex wallcoverings allow designers to create feature designs such as cut-in logos, text, borders and inlays, which we can custom-cut on request. Composition is also available as easy-to-use self-adhesive tiles, offering the opportunity to mix colours and create modular check, stripe and border designs.
