We get smart at Scot Plant - May 2016

04-08-2016

Exhibiting under our EasyCabin brand, we enjoyed a highly successful two days at the recent Scot Plant construction machinery show. We showcased four brand new models, with our latest mobile welfare unit - the EasyCabin ECOsmart - taking centre stage. There are currently two ECOsmart units available; The ECOsmart and the ECOsmartair. The standard ECOsmart features LED lights fitted with passive infrared sensors (PIR sensor) which means the lights can safely remain illuminated all day without having to make the generator operational. Users of the ECOsmart will benefit from having hot water available up to 4 hours each again without having to engage the energy efficient generator. This practical solution is available because the generator is fitted with an intelligent operational control panel - entitled the "Smart Box". The ECOsmart air has all the features and benefits of its younger cousin with one additional aspect - an energy efficient diesel heating system known as "air". Aside from the ECOsmart units we exhibited our new sleeper units alongside the EasyCabin 16 Xtra - a welfare unit that accommodates up 12 persons. Our line up was completed with the, recently developed, EasyCabin WorkStore and an EasyCabin ECO20 - livered in the Glasgow based, national hire firm's colours, GAP Plant Hire. "As the show is every two years we wanted to showcase the new units to keep our Scottish customers up to date with the new models", explained Lisa Gillett, "We were also pleased to receive a number of positive comments about our new ECOsmart welfare units, which is an economical and environmentally positive way to deliver proper site welfare provisions" continued Lisa. Our representatives at Scot Plant received a significant number of enquiries from firms operating in both of the rental and construction markets, north and south of the border. In particular, we have passed several of these enquiries to our design team, for bespoke versions of our existing range. "All-in-all Scot Plant has proven to be a great success for us, the amount of leads we have to follow up will keep us busy well into the summer," concluded Lisa. Scot plant is a construction machinery exhibition held bi-annually at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston, near Edinburgh.
