We were awash with enquires from Floodex - May 2016

Once again exhibiting under our EasyCabin brand, we enjoyed a highly successful two days at Floodex, the flood defence and drainage trade show held in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. We showcased one of our latest mobile welfare units - the EasyCabin ECOsmart. There are currently two ECOsmart units available from the EasyCabin production line; the ECOsmart and the ECOsmartair. The standard ECOsmart features LED lights fitted with passive infrared sensors (PIR sensor) which means the lights can safely remain illuminated all day without having to make the generator operational. User of the ECOsmart will benefit from having hot water available up to 4 hours each again without having to engage the energy efficient generator. This practical solution is available because the generator is fitted with an intelligent operational control panel - entitled the 'Smart Box'. The ECOsmart air has all the features and benefits of its younger cousin with one additional aspect ? an energy efficient diesel heating system known as 'air'. "This is the first time we have exhibited at this particular show and we were very pleased to receive enquiries for our welfare and accommodation units from a number of interested parties," explained Lisa Gillett, "We believe that our units would be a huge benefit in a flood situation, providing a safe place for both flood defence workers and the affected population." Our National Accounts Manager, Mark Samuel took away a significant number of enquiries from firms operating in the management of floods and contractors engaged in flood defence work. "All-in-all Floodex has proven to be a great success for us, the amount of leads received, it was great to be a show were so many visitors had an interest in accommodating their site workers," concluded Lisa.
