2015 Project Review

27-03-2017

2015 was our 30th year in business designing and installing stunning year-round summer houses and garden rooms, and it was a fantastic year for us. Here's a quick snap shot of some of the highlights over the last 12 months - from Endless Pool rooms and party pads, to garden offices and family entertainment spaces. The interior design on this garden room is as stunning as the building, with a fantastic beach feel. The mural on the rear wall really sets this off perfectly! If you'd like to read more information on this project, take a look at our website ref 5245. Our first full gable glass frontage Merlin was completed in March in this beautiful setting. (We aim to have one on display at our main show centre early 2016 if you fancy having a look at.) For more information on this project, search our website for 5214 — in Heathfield, East Sussex. This north London hot tub summer house project also had a cleverly designed store room attached, with a rear door for easy access of bikes to the rear gate and fence (also fitted by us). As well as dsigning and building the garden room we installed the decking and helped with supplying the hot tub. We worked very closely with the customer to ensure every element of this garden building worked perfectly for her interior vision. The store door was positioned perfectly to fit the fridge to the left. We even created an area out the back to fit the climate control unit, making this building L shaped. You can read more about this stylish project on our site soon. If I were to pick our most popular colour for 2015 it would have to be Anthracite (RAL 7016). This Tricoya Vertical V-groove combination garden room, with matching UPVC sliding doors was one of the first projects to use the colour. We think it looks stunning - what about you? The Kite remains one of our most popular year-round summer house models. With its column glass and timber French doors, it's a great cost-effective alternative to our executive collection. This garden building was installed near Brighton, Sussex, and was the first in Hosta Green Sadolin Superdec. It works brilliantly with the olive trees around it, don't you agree? This combination garden room and store in the Anthracite is used daily by the family in Sidcup, Kent. It has some great design features included our home automation pack. To find out more about this project, search our website for 5275. Last January and February we installed this bi-fold garden office with a matching storage shed next to it in London. The cupboard on the left was designed to store the office desk, allowing the customer to easily convert the room into a year-round family entertainment space. The garden building is from our Walnut Sikkens Natural timber range, and looks like it has been there for years - exactly what the customer wanted. This was our largest single project of the year, with two matching garden buildings - one for an Endless pool and the other for a year-round entertainment room, including bar, kitchen and outside BBQ areain Surrey. For more information on this project search our website for 5223. This Merlin with the gable glass addition was installed in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire. The garden room is used for tri-athlete training, and includes a Watt bike and Endless Pool with integrated running machine. Perfect for all-year-round training. This garden pool room has a combination of Anthracite UPVC doors with Slate grey Superdec cladding. This self-contained summer house includes a shower, toilet and kitchenette, all with wet room flooring - which means you can spend the day round the pool without needing to go in and out the house that is some distance away. To learn more about this project search our website for 5204. The bi-fold still remains our most sought-after building, and this year-round garden room, installed in south London, has the perfect setting. Used by the family in the day, it also includes one of our bars for evening entertainment, perfect for catching the last rays of the evening sun.
