Presepsin ELISA Kit
Presepsin (soluble CD14) is a 13kDa protein produced by cleavage of the CD14 receptor. It is generated when the membrane-bound CD14 receptor is proteolytically cleaved in response to bacterial lipopolysaccharides and other microbial compounds. It has also been found as a valuable biomarker, the levels of which may be utilised to identify sepsis.
