Deluxe Knee Kicker

An essential tool for the professional carpet layer that provides an easy means for pushing and stretching carpet into place for a perfect fit every time. The knee kicker features a telescopic tubular steel push rod that can be adjusted from 430mm - 535mm to suit the users' preference. The gripper head is diecast for extra strength with robust steel teeth which feature seven adjustable settings to accomodate different carpet pile thicknesses. How to Use: What you'll need:- - Knee Kicker - Carpet - Tack Hammer / Hammer Tacker - Carpet Pulling Claw 1) Proceed to nail tack strips into the floor along all the walls and install the underpad for the carpet keeping in mind not to cover over the tack strips with the underpad. 2) Lay down the carpet making sure it's laid out in a square shaped format and that it is large enough to cover the entire floor. Ideally, the carpet should overlap a few inches against each wall. 3) Start in one corner of the room and push the teeth of the knee kicker into the carpet at approximately 1 inch from the wall. 4) Slam your knee swiftly into the cushioned end of the knee kicker to hook the carpet onto the teeth. Ensure you remove any lint from the teeth as you move along to so the knee kicker is firmly gripping the carpet. 5) Once one wall has been completed use a Bright Ideas Carpet Pulling Claw (CPC1) to even out the carpet by removing any bumps or uneven podges that may be sticking outwards.
