>Before mixing any plaster at all take into consideration how large the area is you're plastering. If the area is only small such as a spare bedroom then use a Bright Ideas Round Plastic Bucket and a Bright Ideas Spiral Stirrer Economy, to mix the plaster. If you're plastering a larger scaled area such as three to four rooms then it is recommended that you use a Bright Ideas Gorilla Bucket (MBG1124) and a Bright Ideas Industrial Paddle Mixer (TCG1055), to mix the the plaster quicker due to the fact there is a lot more plaster being used for a larger scaled area.

1) Mix the plaster (refer to the paragraph above on which method you should consider using) and apply the plaster with the plastering float. When applying the plaster ensure you tilt the float at a 45 degree angle and use a diagonal motion to spread the plaster across the wall.

2) If you're using plaster to cover over cracks or holes in the wall, ensure the crack or hole is complete filled with plaster.

3) Remove any excess plaster and wipe the float clean on the edge of your Bright Ideas Round Plastic Bucket. Wait for the plaster to successfully dry before sanding it down and painting it.
