Aspire Apprenticeship Awards

26-04-2016

Staffordshire based cable avoidance tool manufacturer, Cable Detection, are proud to sponsor the Aspire Apprenticeship Awards. Employing over 40 people, mostly from the Stoke on Trent area, Cable Detection encourage further development to help progress and develop our employees. Six apprentices have joined the company in 2014/2015, each learning vital skills and helping our business to grow, whilst working towards a recognised qualification. It is hoped they will ‘aspire’ to become functional specialists or departmental heads, maybe leading future apprentices. Cable Detection, part of Hexagon, constantly strives to provide the best equipment for cable avoidance and ultimately protect your workforce. Designing and manufacturing models like the Utilifinder+ designed for small builders to search and locate utilities around residential properties, through to Ultra, a high specification utility tracing instrument. The latest model, EZiCAT i750xf features GPS location and data logging to record the geographical position of the utility whilst ensuring best practice is adhered too. Integration with the latest LOGiCAT app provides the link between the instrument on-site and your office where the LOGiCAT PC software will integrate all data. LOGiCAT and on-board data logging helps improve work flow and reduce costs as the surveyor can continually work in the field without visiting the office.
