Cenpart was started in August 2000 to supply a specialist service, aimed at delivering protective Barriers into non-highway applications.

Armco Crash Barrier in the United Kingdom has become the common term for the corrugated steel crash barrier commonly found in racetracks protecting the drivers and crowd.

The barrier use now goes beyond the racetrack and can be largely seen as a protective measure for people and property, in locations such as car parks, warehouses, loading bays and yards, factories, docks, quaysides and private roads.
