Air to water heat pumps operate by absorbing the heat from the outside ambient air, the energy from which can be used to heat warm water for underfloor heating and also domestic hot water, they can be complemented by the use of other renewable energy systems such as Solar. Air Source COP Air to Water heat pumps are positioned on the outside of your property at least 300 cm away from the wall or they can be as far as 25 meters away from the property in the garden. They typically measure 1200 x 1200 x 500mm.
