Asbestos Management

Regulation 4 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 places an explicit “duty to manage” on the duty-holder. An important element of this duty is to ensure that there is a “written plan” that sets out in detail how the risks from ACMs will be managed and to take the necessary steps to put the plan into action also to periodically review and monitor the plan and the arrangements to act on it so that the plan remains relevant and up-to-date.
