Engineered wooden flooring is made up of layers of wood pressed together. The real wood surface veneer layer is available in a wide range of different designs and finishes and thicknesses. During manufacturing the layers of wood are placed in different directions which makes this flooring more dimensionally stable than solid wood, yet identical in appearance.
