Funding rules change in ten weeks so act now to get subsidised fencing training

On the 1st August the funding rules change and some of the training currently funded will no longer be supported. So now is the time to act. FaCT has secured more funding to enable more people to be trained before these changes are implemented.
We have funding for:
Lead installers and supervisors who need a Gold FISS/CSCS card – places are limited
Machinery drivers who need to upgrade their Red CPCS card to Blue
Fencers who need to renew their FISS/CSCS card and require health and safety training.
Fencers who need to upgrade to a Blue FISS/CSCS card. If they are under 25 years old, the business can receive £1500 from the government as additional support.

If you need to renew your FISS/CSCS card, or apply for your first card, then FaCT has funding to help towards the cost
The funding helps towards the cost of:
Health and safety training
FISS/CSCS card
CAT training
Abrasive wheels training

Apprenticeship in Fencing
Whether you are 16 or 60 the fencing apprenticeship is a great way of getting funding for your training and Blue FISS/CSCS card.
16 – 18 year old £ free of charge
19 – 24 year old £500
and get £1500 from the government for training a young person (16-24)
over 25 year old £750
The programme includes:
Level 2 Diploma in Fencing
Health and safety training
3 additional days training
Blue FISS/CSCS card
Gold Card Upgrade
FaCT has funding to support those who need a Gold Supervisors FISS/CSCS card. Many construction sites are now requiring a gold card holder to be on site at all times. This programme provides:
Level 3 Diploma in fence supervision
Supervisors Health and Safety training
Leadership and management training
Gold FISS/CSCS card
After the 1st Aug 2013, this will only be supported by student loans, so act now!
Machinery drivers CPCS upgrade
Red CPCS card holders have 2 years to complete a NVQ and upgrade to a Blue card.
If this is not done they need to redo the CPCS test plus NVQ
FaCT has funding that will reduce this cost by up to 50%.
After the 1st Aug this funding will be reduced and the eligibility criteria, so act now!
