Flexseal First To Offer Delivery Tracking

Customers are now able to track deliveries of our orders online. The new system is just one of a number of improvements to customer service made by the company during 2015. We have introduced a process to automatically acknowledge customer orders as soon as they are live on our order system. Equally, despatch of orders is confirmed as soon as it takes place. This way customers can be reassured that orders are on hand or on way. In each case, an email is sent out to the merchant branch. Once a delivery is en route, most orders can be tracked online – a first for a UK coupling manufacturer. We also offer guaranteed, timed deliveries where the customer requests this service and delivery can be made either to the merchant branch or to the project site, as required. “Offering tracked deliveries gives an extra level of reassurance to our customers. We’re increasingly used to this service in our personal lives. There’s no reason we can’t match that level of service within our industry,” commented Managing Director Lee Pashley. During the summer, we conducted a survey with branch managers of one of our key customers and we will continue this exercise with other stockists. The survey is designed to highlight exactly what merchant customers want, allowing the company a deeper insight into merchants’ needs. “The partnerships we have with our merchant stockists are fundamental to keeping our own business healthy. Understanding what merchant branches need and improving our offering is and will remain a key focus of our business,” explained Lee Pashley.
