Faughan Viaduct
Faughan ViaductRefurbishment of Faughan Viaduct at Campsie as part of Coleraine to Londonderry Track Renewal Project. The viaduct, which was constructed before 1940, is a multiple spanned reinforced concrete beam bridge over the estuary of the River Faughan. The 109m long viaduct consists of 11 square spans supported on reinforced concrete piers and abutments. The main structural support in each span is provided by 4 No precast, reinforced concrete T-beams with clear spans ranging between 8.60 metres and 9.18 metres.
