Hammersmith Post & Rail

The Hammersmith post and rail system is a popular means of controlling pedestrian movement in a relatively unobtrusive way, as an alternative to other full height guardrail designs. The post is a traditional design, with decorative rail junctions, is solid cast iron except for where the rails pass through, and with a base plate for ease of bolting down rather than installing fully below ground. Posts are supplied primed as standard, and rails are in galvanised steel supplied 6m+ lengths for cutting and fitting on site. We recommend that top coats are applied on site as pre-finished items would inevitably suffer damage during installation.
