High efficiency solar cells use PERC technology with 5 busbars to extract more power from a smaller surface area, increasing the output of the panel without increasing the size. Half-cut cell construction decreases internal losses, reduces risk of hotspots and improves performance in shaded conditions. The robust design of the panel is IP68 (waterproof) rated, and tested for resistance against PID, salt mist, ammonia, heavy snow, dust and sand.
