David Walker Gardens

In January 2007 haa design won a term contract to undertake interior design for South Lanarkshire Council Social Services. This appointment has already seen our involvement on various projects ranging from an education suite to an integrated care facility (incorporating a school, library and community space) to a through care facility for children up to young adults and our latest challenge – a new build Care Home for the elderly and dementia sufferers. The David Walker Centre is a purpose built care home with 48 suites for residents. The Centre has a restaurant, café, hairdressing salon, gym and reception area, all designed around a central “street” that has views out to the landscaped gardens. Interior design services covered all spaces and achieved a subtle blend between practicality and style and aimed for the highest standards of facilities for residents.
