Clear Intumescent Varnish A clear flame retardant intumescent coating for timber and timber derivative surfaces giving a varnish type appearance, this enhances the natural colour of the wood. Can be used internally and externally. Intended to upgrade to Class 1 and Class 0. Clear Fire Retardant Colourless and odourless. Non-toxic. Solvent free. Not harmful to the environment and will not wash out from the substrate once dry. Timber treated with Nu-Flame Clear Impregnation Fire Retardant does not react with galvanised steel, gun nails or zinc coated screws. Critical engineering properties i.e. strength, durability, hygroscopicity and corrosivity are not compromised. Nu-Flame Clear Impregnation is water based ready to use Fire Retardant solution that is absorbed into the surface of the substrate to achieve Class 0 Surface Spread of Flame. For internal and external use. Will not leach.
