Roots Coffee Shop

When gas was ruled out as an option, IHP's infrared panels came to the rescue. For this project, we partnered with Generate Green Ltd. As the coffee shop was unable to use gas for their heating, Generate Green proposed infrared as the solution. IHP provided technical support and assisted with the heating calculations that were carried out. For this particular project, 50 Watts per m² was used (which is suitable for shop / commercial situation). As the building was being refurbished, a new suspended ceiling was fitted. It was an easy decision to install our standard 595mm x 595mm (in-ceiling) panels. Roots Coffee Shop opened for trading in November 2014, and our "fit and forget" infrared heater panels have been a great success, resulting in happy staff and happy customers.
