Jenkinson Electrical Engineering is a privately owned company, established in 1962 by its current Chairman Mr Sidney Jenkinson and its Company Secretary Mrs Joan Jenkinson. It was incorporated as a limited company in 1983.

The company operates from a modern 6000ft office and manufacturing premises in South Yorkshire, with easy access to both the M1 and M18.
