The UltraSump Battery Backup System is designed specifically for use as an emergency backup system, with a battery power source that is especially designed for long-term standby operation and an entirely separate pump, able to kick into action if your primary pump fails to operate for any reason.

The UltraSump includes a high-quality, long-term 120-amp battery system, with an integrated charger that maintains an excellent level of charge at all times. Alongside this, a separate pump provides a backup in the event of mechanical failure or blockage, so no matter what the reason for the system failure, the UltraSump is prepared to react.

The UltraSump

The UltraSump pump is a state-of-the-art battery backup pump system, with an entirely separate pump, power system, float switch and charging system for a completely redundant system. With the backup pump designed to fit within the sump above the primary pump, the UltraSump uses its float switch to detect rising water caused by primary pump failure and switches on, with no necessary input from an operator - which means that you're covered even if you're away from home or unable to reach the pump.

UltraSump Pumping Capacity

Thanks to its powerful pump and large battery, on a fully-charged battery the UltraSump pump is able to pump out over 11,000 gallons (41,639L) of floodwater at a rate of 2,000 gallons (7,571L) per hour, giving you plenty of time to restore the primary pump to action. Once power is restored, the UltraSump battery recharges quickly, ready to take action again.

For added protection, you may wish to look into the optional UltraSump battery switcher, which allows an additional battery to be connected to the UltraSump, doubling its pumping capacity and operational time.
