Silver Granite Path Topping   Consists of: Our Silver Granite Path Topping also known as Cornish Grey is an attractive hardwearing silver/grey rock perfect for giving a contemporary look to your landscaping project. The product is particularly unique, with a mix of different shades, occasional dark chippings and the presence of speckles and stripes.The range of stone sizes that make up this path topping help it to leave a firmer finish than standard gravels. Silver Granite Path Topping is ideal for applications where a firmer surface is required whilst still providing a gravelly effect. Path Toppings should be placed in layers and rolled using a vibrating roller to create a firm surface. We recommend 50mm depth for footpaths and borders. Silver Granite Path Topping must be laid on a suitable free draining, compacted sub-base such as MOT Type 3 and it is essential that it is laid with a camber or crossfall to allow water to disperse. Poor drainage is the number one cause of surface failure.
