Established in 1937 in Milan, today Mapei is the world's biggest producer of a wide range of adhesives and chemicals which are suitable for the construction industry.
Since the '60s Mapei began its internationalization strategy for increased proximity to local requirements and a minimization of transportation costs.
Currently The Group consists of 69 affiliated companies with 63 different manufacturing plants operating in five continents within 32 different countries, each of which possesses a quality control laboratory.
