In 2009 Moore Biosystems Ltd was formed as a company dedicated to bringing simple, robust and functional biogas facilities for a profitable and sustainable production of renewable energy for the farming industry. Although a relatively young company, its heritage goes a lot further back as sister company to Moore Concrete Products Ltd. Moore Concrete began trading in Northern Ireland in 1978 manufacturing pre-cast concrete products for the agricultural industry. Since then it has expanded into premium and bespoke civil and building markets too with many accomplished projects and high profile customers including Tesco, Translink are among its valued customers. Moore concrete has a hard earned reputation for excellence in quality, bespoke product design and customer service.

However, it has never abandoned its agricultural roots and has continually offered new and innovative products in its agricultural range. In 2005, after extensive fact finding throughout Germany, Holland and Denmark, Moore’s developed a link with Danish company, Lundsby Holdings, and brought a new technology to the local market in the form of pre-cast panelled slurry stores. Moore Concrete has gone on to supply and erect almost 300 slurry stores in UK and Ireland since then using this technology.

It is through this alliance and Moore’s experience with the slurry stores and Lundsby experience in the biogas industry in Europe for almost 20 years that Moore Biosystems has developed.
