Naylor Concrete supplies Sun Lane Leisure Centre Project

Naylor Concrete Ltd supplied Hi-Spec, Fire Spec and Stainless Steel L-Strip Lintels to the Sun Lane Leisure project in Wakefield. Sun Lane Leisure is an inspirational venue for the district built on the site of the old Sun Lane Baths and will allow Wakefield district residents to swim, get fit and stay active in a purpose built and modern facility that includes: • A six lane 25m pool with adjustable depth • A 13m x 7m studio pool with adjustable depth • A 100 station fitness suite • A multi-use activity studio • A health suite with steam room and sauna • 130 capacity spectator viewing area • Café Sun Lane Leisure is fully accessible for people with disabilities there is accessible changing, level access and hoists into both pools. A key feature to be included in Sun Lane Leisure is a Changing Places facility. We hope the new centre will have a positive impact on the area and also be a great place for Wakefield district residents to get active and stay healthy. The opening of Sun Lane Leisure was during an inspirational year of sport. London hosting the 2012 games and team GB’s amazing performance not only inspired a generation but also a nation.
