Denlok pipes installed at Lidl Supermarket as a storm water solution
Denlok pipes installed at Lidl Supermarket as a stormwater solution A new sewer outfall was required for a newly built Lidl supermarket in Mapplewell, the works involved the installation of approximately 180Lm of Naylor Denlok DN150 jacking pipe for the stormwater outfall whilst the foul line being shallow was installed via traditional open-cut works. Traffic management was in place on which is an extremely busy route into Barnsley. The works were due to take approximately 7-8 weeks to complete. Having trenchless technology and Denlok available meant that the contractors and local authorities could avoid long and unnecessary road closures which would have been disruptive for residents and local businesses. Billy Bewsher, Senior Operations Manager at Trenchless Solutions explains that “Naylor clay jacking pipes are used in this industry as they’re unrivalled and an excellent product that meets not only our client's requirements but also BS & EN standards. The Naylor delivery made to Mapplewell (as on every one of our projects) was a speedy delivery, on time, and with no complications.”Visit the Naylor Industries website for more information on Denlok pipes installed at Lidl Supermarket as a storm water solution
