Welcome To Panelcraft Access Panels

Underestimated or overlooked access requirements can prove highly disruptive should they need to be addressed at a later stage. The use of stud partition cavities in dry lining, to carry services and address concealed controls, is now a vital and fundamental part of the architectural design process.

Panelcraft personnel pioneered the concept of manufacturing functional access panels (sometimes known as access hatches) that are aesthetic in design by blending into the surrounding surface. We did this by working closely with architects, designers and builders we can provide the most appropriate solutions. Research and development is constantly taking place to improve designs and offer new access panel and related products.

We can provide solutions to new methods of construction and we are constantly improving our designs to offer higher specifications, particularly in the area of Fire Resistance and Acoustics. We implement quality management methods to ISO 9001:9002. Panels are monitored throughout the production process with back office procedures in place to guarantee quality that delivers on time.

About Panelcraft

Peter Cartwright - Over thirty years ago Peter developed the original access panels for the construction industry. His original company Panelform Ltd manufactured the "Sesame" range of panels for Profilex Ltd.
Peter merged Panelform with Profilex in the mid eighties. About fifteen years ago, he resigned as Managing Director of Profilex selling his shareholding to British Gypsum.

Starting Panelcraft with a blank canvas about a decade-and-a-half ago, Peter redesigned his original concepts to produce an improved range of access panels to meet the demands of architects and contractors for slimmer, lighter and more effective products.

Mick McDonagh - Mick has over 25 years experience in the interiors sector of the construction industry. He has a vast knowledge in design, development , sales & marketing and contracting.

Mick worked for the market leaders in manufacturing , distribution and contracting Burgess Architectural products, Pergola industries, CCF and Bridge Interiors.

He joined Panelcraft in 2003 to help Peter Cartwright further develop and market the already well established "Pan" range of access Panels.
