Japanese knotweed – allotment holders’ fears as it runs rampant

17-11-2014

Eight of fifty allotments have been taken over by Japanese knotweed near Valley Road, Bradford… and close-by properties are also in danger of being affected. The council started treating the plots two years ago and claim it will take another three to finish. In the meantime, worried house owners and other allotment holders are keeping a good eye out for this invasive weed. Seen a plant that looks like Japanese knotweed and worried about selling your house or getting a mortgage? Call PLR Ltd or send us a picture or video: we can let you know in the first instance if a further look is needed.
