Extreme Cooling and Heating in the same duct A clever system that allows two systems in one duct. A none permeable membrane separates the top and bottom half of the duct. On the top half of the duct are the low velocity cooling diffusers - air from these will fall into the occupied zone (OZ) because of the density of the cold air. On the bottom of the duct are the warm air diffusers, buoyant, less dense warm air will travel into the OZ from these as they are large and positioned for maximum throw. On cooling a motor positions the membrane to BLOCK the heating diffuser perforations. On Heating the membrane BLOCKS the cooling perforations, thus two different kinds of air delivery system can be incorporated in this one Fabric Duct.
