With its use under many types of flooring and lifetime warranty – The Loose Cable is an ideal solution for your heating requirements. The Loose Cable heating system is a length of heating cable which is specifically designed to suit irregularly shaped rooms. As the heating cable is not on a mat like the other heating systems it is easily manoeuvrable around fixtures and fittings – Making it an ideal heating solution in bathrooms and cloakrooms where W/C’s and basins are present. The average output for the Loose Cable is 150W/m² although the spacing of the cable can be adjusted and manipulated to your requirements. Moving the heating cable runs closer together will increase the output and spacing them further apart will reduce the output meaning you can achieve your desired heating output. The Loose Cable is available in a variety of sizes ranging from 0.75m² to 20.0m² and can be connected in parallel together to fit larger areas – It is recommended that you aim to heat 85% of the floor area and use our 6mm/10mm XPS insulation boards which are specifically designed to reduce heat loss to achieve a primary heat source.
