Hardwalling of Internal Walls

This is the application of a sand and cement mix to exposed brickwork which can provide a good impermeable surface. Internal walls are rendered or hardwalled and they are given a key in preparation for a skim coat. The benefits of hardwalling is you are able to skim the walls on the same day, with sand and cement you need to let it cure.
