Foam Fire Extinguishers

Foam fire extinguishers are water based and contain a foam concentrate, this makes this type of fire extinguisher suitable for use on fires involving wood, paper and textiles, along with fires involving flammable liquids. Foam fire extinguishers are always red in colour with a cream band. Occasionally you may come across a very old model, which will not be red, but completely cream in colour.
