Lap Mops

Applications: Lap mops are made with discs of non-woven fleece abrasive, joined around the centre. This make for highly flexible wheels which will give gentle abrasive action on metal components, castings and wood. They are ideal for working complex shapes due to their flexibility. They will strip light coatings, clean, prepare surfaces and smooth surface roughness. The most popular grade is medium A (MA) which is a useful all-rounded for the workshop, leaving an approx 240 finish on stainless steel. Fine A (FA) and Very Fine A (VFA) grades are also available for finer finishes and softer non-ferrous metals.Specification: Made with non-woven fleece discs. Aluminium oxide suspended grain. (Silicon carbide option on request). Soft centre hole for mounting on tapered spindles such as on polishing mills. Stocked and sold in packs of 5 (except 250mm dia).
