Tree Pit Resin

Tree pit resin is a similar system to Resin Bound, it consists of larger aggregate ranging from 6-10 mm. This system is laid at a depth of 50 mm and can go directly onto compacted M.O.T type 1. The finished tree pit system is very porous and allows water to flow at the rate of 50 litres per minute per square metre. Whilst ensuring plants and trees can receive natural rainwater at all times, it also provides a highly decorative and maintenance free solution . A Tree Pit Resin is a great alternative to soil and particularly metal grids. It is becoming a preferred choice for local authorities, as it is very fast curing, and is able to endure light foot traffic just 4 hours after installation. We also ensure that the natural growth of trees is not restricted through the installation of a protective tree collar filled with loose aggregate.
