Lepus 1600 Box

Sliding electric gate access solutions that are compact, quiet and smooth in operation but capable of operating the heaviest of sliding gates. The Lepus box encases the gate automation operator inside a large enclosure providing easy access for installation and a more secure system. The largest of the single phase Lepus gate operators is designed for heavy industrial operation capable of opening and closing a 1600 kg, 11000 mm gate up to 30 times per hour. The motor has all the gate safety features of the Lepus 1600, with the addition of an external manual release system for use on sites with only one access gate.. When a higher level of internal security is required, the Lepus 1800 box operator is built into a large steel enclosure allowing the gate installation to look neat and tidy. High levels of safety are provided on all operators with both mechanical slip clutch systems and electronic rotation sensors, providing constant levels of personal safety even on the largest of gates.
