Underbuild sink units are usually mounted either underneath the worktop or at mid level. This increases the usable surface of the worktop and is a method of fitting which is largely used for granite, wooden and entirely plastic worktops. Due to the fact that the underbuild sink unit is fitted below the level of the worktop it makes it more simple to keep the worktop clean.
