28-05-2014

Space Air is a MCS accredited company distributing MCS accredited Daikin products since 2009. What is MCS? The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS), supported by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), is a recognised quality assurance scheme that is designed to provide consumer confidence that MCS certification ensures both products and installations meet the highest standards. MCS was launched in 2008 specifically to certify electricity generating technologies with a capacity of up to 50kW and heat generating technologies with a capacity of up to 45kW. Air Source Heat Pumps are just one of many technologies covered by MCS. MCS linked to Government finance schemes The MCS is linked to Government finance schemes, including the Domestic and Non-domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) schemes. The Government finance scheme states that both the installed product and the installation company must be MCS certified to be eligible for the domestic RHI. MCS certified Daikin Altherma products purchased through Space Air can be eligible for RHI For further information on MCS please visit the below link: http://www.microgenerationcertification.org
