Old Palace School

We received an enquiry from the Old Palace School of John Whitgift concerning the floor of a machine shop/ woodworking floor. The floor had an Altro vinyl coating which although a great surface, became slippery under certain conditions. The school contacted us to see if we could provide an anti-slip system that would prevent slips, yet still maintain the look of the vinyl. Floor Before Resin Sealer Floor after Resin Sealer Close up of the clear anti-slip coating We were able to apply an ultra clear sealer to the vinyl, incorporating small glass spheres to create the slip resistance. As you can see from the above pictures, there is little difference between the floor area before coating and the floor after coating. It is only upon closer inspection that the slip-resistant sealer becomes apparent. All works on this area were completed within two days.
