The Stannah Group is a long established family-owned, British company. The company today is managed by fifth generation family members together with their board of directors.

Back in the 1860s, Mr Joseph Stannah started out by making lifts and hoists to move ships' cargo. The business has expanded over the years to include goods and service lifts, passenger lifts,platform lifts, bespoke large lifts, moving walkways, escalators and, of course, stairlifts.

Stannah's nationwide network of eleven service branches and over 350 lift engineers deliver local maintenance,refurbishment and replacement for all types of lifting equipment from all manufacturers, 24/7, 365 days a year.
