Input range -20% +10% from nominal 220 or 240. Output stable 5%. Lighter and much quieter than passive version see above. Operates on 50 or 60 Hz. The electronic line voltage conditions consists of an isolated transformer c/w triac regulated control on output which switches in and out different tapps on the transformer as current passes though zero point of cycle.
