Above The Floor System

This specific floor system is normally used to level out an existing floor within a property that might have a floor height difference. This system is also very common where there is no space under the floor boards or the floors are finished with concrete. Installation: - Carpets removed - Floor sealed with acoustic mastic - Fit 1st layer of 19mm acoustic sound plank on top of floor finish. - All joints, gaps and perimeter sealed with acoustic mastic sealant. - Fit 2nd layer of 12.5mm acoustic sound shield plasterboards on top of 19mm sound plank - Carpets refitted
