Engineered woods Our engineered wood floors are extremely attractive to the eye and give all the attributes of a solid wood floor. They do however as well as having a real wood finish, boast a stability that real wood does not have due to the cross-ply and real wood top layer. This ensures that the engineered wooden boards have a stability and strength that solid wood does not have. An added advantage of Our engineered wooden flooring is that it is versatile and can be laid over underfloor heating in kitchens and other areas in which high heat absorption can be a problem. Similarly to the Solid Hardwood flooring, our engineered wood can be fitted by either nailing the floor boards down, or adhered to the floor with strong adhesive.
