About Us
W.E. Couplings Ltd experience dates back to 1986 as a partnership called Whittle Engineering based in Whittle-le-Woods, Lancashire.
In 1991 one of the partners, Peter Hart, bought out the other partner and started trading as W.E. Couplings & Coatings.
The company operated from two sites, and continued trading under this name until 1999 when we moved to a much larger premises, allowing increased manufacturing capability, as well as an increase in R & D activity and an engineering driven sales plan.
