Anderton Presents at Geotex

Geotex is a unique, free to attend, independently run series of regional seminars that focus on the Geotechnical sector of the Construction Industry. The seminar programme allows the sector’s key specialists to network with engineers, contractors and other industry professionals. Anderton Concrete Products presented one of the eight seminars at the most recent event that was held in Cardiff City Hall. Tim Fields, Civils Divisional Manager, used the allotted 25 minute session to talk to around 80 delegates on the range of dry laid retaining wall systems that the company has to offer. The seminars took place in the magnificent Council Chambers of Cardiff City Hall, providing a unique location for both presenter and delegate. The event also allowed for all the presenting companies to promote their products via a mini exhibition in one of the building's function rooms and therefore offer more detailed information in a slightly less formal location. A number of positive discussions were held with delegates leading to the potential for further meetings in the future. Anderton Concrete Products now hope to look at the 2014 seminar schedule with a view to attending several more events across the UK.
