Exciting Projects of 2023

This is probably the most significant project for Bakers to date, let alone in 2023! This client had a classroom, endless pool room and canopy room installed in their garden. We collaborated with some great brands like Millboard and Grillo, as well as working with garden landscaper Karl Harrison. This garden building is the ideal setting for an endless pool as the bi-folding doors seamlessly blend the indoors with the outdoors. It is also the first garden room that we have built for an Endless Pool with the Cross Trainer package from Home Counties Pools And Hot Tubs! Our building for Sigma Homes was very exciting for Bakers as it was the first time we had worked with developers on new buildings pre-purchase! We love how well our garden building compliments the lovely garden at this property and we can’t wait to see how the new owners decide to use it. We’re really looking forward to future projects alongside many more property developers. This project was the first time we shared our smallest garden office and it really is a great example of how a small space can separate work and home life. This smaller garden building has given the client the ability to work in a quiet place with no interruptions and allows them to enjoy a more balanced home and work life. This fantastic building gets so much use and really changed how the family uses their property and home. Not only is it a great space to use for entertainment and family time, it’s also frequently used by the client’s daughters who love having a separate place to relax. The interior design, bar, Grillo kitchen and toilet were all amazing features of this brilliantly executed project. This project would not look out of place in any sunny European resort. The gazebo with a retractable roof which houses a hot tub, alongside the huge outdoor TV really makes this particular garden building very unique. However, what lies behind the doors is an amazing memory room. The challenge of this project was that everything had to come through the house as there was no back gate. Even the roofs came through the window! The second developer we are working with is Brookworth Homes and we are very excited about a number of projects we have planned with them. We felt that our Kite pre-designed room really completed this garden, fitted with our full drop French doors and anthracite exterior. This project was quite different for us as we transformed an old garage into a versatile space. Tearing down the garage, we installed one of our pre-designed buildings in its place. This garden room cleverly incorporates a lined and insulated utility room on the left and a spacious potting shed on the right. The potting shed features large windows that flood the area with natural light, making it ideal for the client's love for gardening. This project definitely proved to be the most demanding of the year. For this project we needed to: Secure planning permission in London. Incorporate an inset Endless Pool within a room. Bring all the materials in through a flat. This building features a gym area alongside an Endless Pool that is almost fully set in the ground, as well as our fantastic bi-fold doors. It was a perfectly executed project, and one that we're really proud of. Garden Gym Building with Oak Wall Feature 10.jpg1010.jpg REF: 6275 The design for this building was actually a combination of two Baker’s pre-designs - the Jay Studio with the Kite French doors. For this client’s garden gym this unique design worked perfectly. The stunning oak rear feature wall in this building was installed by the client's friend and is something Bakers will be introducing next year!
