Elasticoat copings were the perfect choice for the social housing parapet wall copings. Being extremely light in weight quickly and easily fixed. Copings can be designed to any bespoke shape without attracting additional costs and in this case were designed to overhang the parapet wall. The units are 1.2 linear metre long and fixed with an adhesive that has been tested to be secure in the fiercest of gales and for extra security some mechanical fixings were also applied. The builders were amazed to find that the EPS copings matched exactly to the cast stone used in other structural area’s of the building and are much more cost effective too.
