Here at Blink Image, we continue to explore the latest software and hardware for making architectural visualisation better. 3D printing can often involve the creation of physical models or parts, of varying qualities, from a printer that operates in an extra dimension! There are many types, ranging from high-end scintering where the model magically appears out of a pile of dust, to lower end extrusion types, where lengths of plastic filament are essentially melted and squirted into layer after layer after layer, usually for many hours at a time.
